After completing her MS in General Surgery from J.J.M. Medical College and Bapuji Hospital, Davangere, she discovered that her true passion as a surgeon lay in helping people look their best. She then went on to take an MCh in Plastic Surgery from St. John’s Medical College in Bangalore and subsequently put herself through advanced training in the different aspects of cosmetic surgery.
She has a keen expertise in hair rejuvination procedures and has been extensively trained in the science and treatment of hair related grievances.
Dr. Karishma is recognised as an expert in the field of aesthetic and cosmetic surgery and has presented papers at several major international and national conferences. In 2018, she was the youngest ISAPS Faculty at Zurich ISAPS Congress- Art and Aesthetics 2018 organized by Swiss Aesthetic Society
